Zero quorum! An attacker took over the entire protocol with just 0.000055% of the voting power $ETH

SlowMist reports that decentralized exchange Yapeswap was attacked, resulting in losses of approximately $21,900. The root cause is chilling: the governance quorum was set to zero, so the attacker needed only about 0.000055% of the voting power to pass a proposal and transfer the protocol’s permissions to themselves.

This is a wake-up call for all DeFi projects: governance is not just window dressing. Setting the quorum to zero is like leaving the safe key hanging by the front door. $21,900 may seem like a small amount, but if governance vulnerabilities are exploited at scale, they pose a systemic risk.
