The Retail Investor Revolution: Has anyone told you that now is not the time to use leverage?
We need to distinguish one thing: the opportunity you see—or the “opportunities” that people online shout about every day as they urge you to jump in—may not actually be real opportunities.
Recognizing opportunities takes a combination of skills. There definitely aren’t opportunities in crypto every second of every day! People who constantly shout about opportunities may have other motives, such as chasing traffic or earning fees.
1. Analyze short-term trades by combining news and technical analysis!
In June, BTC’s important bottom at $57,800 was confirmed. BTC is now around $83,000. The weekly candle closes tomorrow, and overall, the market is in a corrective consolidation phase after its rebound.
In the short term, watch the $80,000 support level. The next important support is around $75,000 (the upper edge of the bull market support band).
At $75,000 is the weekly EMA21, while the MA20 is around $71,100. Together, they form BTC’s medium- to long-term bull market support band and are an important reference for gauging the bull and bear market trend. As long as the weekly chart holds this zone, the medium-term rebound structure has not been completely broken.
Can you be more specific about the price level?
Of course: BTC at $74,476!
This is an important reference level identified by looking at the liquidation map. Price may not reach it, but you should keep this key support level in mind!
2. What’s the news?
Recently, Trump and Russia have shown new signs of cooperation on oil, surprising many people. If this helps push oil prices down, it could help the U.S. bring inflation under control in the short term and benefit the midterm elections. It may also indirectly benefit crypto. As an aside, this could amount to a betrayal of Europe’s interests.
Why?
Oil prices are currently affecting U.S. inflation expectations, which then feed through to the crypto market via Treasury yields and expectations for Federal Reserve interest rates, putting pressure on risk assets.
Until now, the market has focused on U.S.–Iran relations and the Strait of Hormuz, seeing the situation in the Middle East as the key factor determining oil prices.
But Trump is now trying to break with convention and find a way forward through Russian oil.
If oil product supplies can be increased and energy shortages eased, that could relieve inflationary pressure in the U.S., even if U.S.–Iran relations don’t improve significantly.
If you absolutely have to trade right now, buy cheap altcoins that haven’t gone up yet. I’ll break it down in the next post 🫡
