$PONS This PONS slide from 0.96 to 0.33 is essentially a fundamental collapse—the buyback engine has stalled. Previously, it could buy back about $1 million worth of tokens a day; now it’s less than $200,000, nowhere near enough to withstand the selling pressure.
From late September to early October, the PONS platform’s average daily token issuance fell by about 72% compared with the first half of September. Average daily fee revenue plunged even more, from $6.87 million to $1.48 million, a drop of about 78%. Even if the project team genuinely wants to buy back tokens, they need money to do it. Current fee revenue isn’t even enough to cover operating costs, so where would the money for buybacks come from? Without the money to buy back tokens, whales won’t dare step in and drive up the price. As everyone knows, whales are shrewd investors. No one’s money grows on trees, especially when the project team itself can’t deliver. Those currently stuck with losses have two choices and need to act now. Come to the chat room: @鑫火首席#pons
