According to Foresight News, legal services provider Stretto Inc. has been targeted by a cyber attack, resulting in the theft of client information from Celsius Network LLC. The scope of the breach is wider than previously known, affecting at least four companies in total.
A lawyer from Stretto revealed during a hearing in New York on Tuesday that the attack impacted 104,000 creditors of Celsius, with their names and other contact information being leaked. In addition to Celsius, three other companies that receive bankruptcy-related administrative services from Stretto were also affected by the attack.
Stretto acknowledged on April 17 that it had become the target of a phishing attack. The company is currently working to address the situation and mitigate any potential damage caused by the breach.
