According to Foresight News, the entertainment-focused blockchain ecosystem, Sophon, has announced that it has raised over $60 million through node sales. The project is built on zkSync technology and uses data solutions provided by Celestia.

Data from the blockchain analysis website Dune indicates that Sophon sold approximately 121,000 network nodes, earning about 20,391 ETH, equivalent to $62.7 million. The sale offered a total of 200,000 nodes. The founders of this blockchain project have not publicly disclosed their names.

Insiders suggest that many of the nodes may have been purchased by venture capital firms, qualifying them to receive 20% of the SOPH tokens finally issued by the project within the first 36 months after the network's launch, which is expected in the third quarter of this year.
