Jaynti Kanani, one of the co-founders of Polygon, announced that he will step back from his daily activities on the project. This decision came after 6 years of Kanani's active participation in the project. Kanani stated that he wanted to embark on "new adventures" while indirectly contributing to Polygon. This development follows Polygon Labs' restructuring in July. Polygon 2.0 remains a central focus for the future of the project despite leadership changes. Developers are actively working to realize Polygon 2.0, which aims to seamlessly integrate zero-knowledge proofs. This project consists of four protocol layers, each focusing on stake, interoperability, implementation and proof. Polygon 2.0 aims to bring a new level of sophistication and efficiency to blockchain technology. Meanwhile, news of Kanani's transition did not have a significant impact on Polygon's native token, MATIC. The token price has remained relatively stable in the range of $0.55 to $0.58 and stands at $0.56 at the time of writing, reflecting a 1.1% increase in the last 24 hours.
