A hacker stole 234 ETH (approximately $385,000) from users of the Friend.Tech platform in one day. The attacker used SIM swapping attacks. Earlier in the week, four Friend.Tech users also experienced attacks that resulted in the theft of approximately 109 ETH. In response, Friend.Tech has implemented a new security feature that allows you to remove certain login options, including phone numbers. Experts recommend adding two-factor authentication to improve account security.
