📢 Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder and former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, will enter a 15-day hearing to defend the charges against him by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) in October.
🗓️ According to the court calendar, the hearing of the SBF will last from October to the first week of November and if the case is not concluded, it may extend until 2024.
🏛️ During the hearing process, visiting hours were determined for the days SBF was detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
⚖️ However, many of SBF's defense strategies face court obstacles. The court stated that SBF could not use FTX's lawyer's legal advice or faulty transactions prior to the crypto exchange's collapse to blame it.
