"فاد" (FUD#): هو اختصار لعبارة "الخوف وعدم اليقين والشك (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt).
"إتش أو دي إل" (HODL#): ويشير إلى نوع من إستراتيجية الاستثمار السلبي الذي تحتفظ فيه باستثمار لفترة طويلة بغض النظر عن أي تغييرات في السعر أو الأسواق.
"كيه واي سي" (KYC#): اختصار لعبارة "اعرف عميلك" (Know Your Customer). وهي المرحلة الأولى التي يجب أن تكتمل فيها منصات تداول العملات المشفرة من أجل التحقق من هوية عملائها.
"سوق الثور" (bull market#) وتعني "السوق الصاعد": وتشير إلى سوق تتحرك فيها أسعار العملات المشفرة عموما صعودا لفترة زمنية معينة.
"سوق الدب" (bear market#) وتعني "السوق الهابط": يشير إلى السوق التي تكون فيها أسعار العملات المشفرة عموما في اتجاه هبوطي.
"العملة البديلة" (Altcoin#): أي عملة مشفرة بخلاف البيتكوين.

"إل إيه إم بي" أو "لامبو" (LAMBO#): وهو المصطلح المستخدم اختصار لكلمة لامبورغيني، مؤشرا على السرعة التي يتوقعها المرء أن يصبح ثريا، نظرا لظروف السوق الحالية. وغالبا ما تستخدم أيضا، للإشارة إلى العكس: أن شخصا ما يخسر الكثير من المال أثناء فترات الركود.
"الحوت" (Whale#): مصطلح يستخدم لوصف المستثمرين أو التجار الأثرياء للغاية الذين لديهم أموال كافية للتلاعب بالسوق.
"سحب البساط" أو "راغ بول" (Rugpull#):وتشير إلى إستراتيجية عملة مشفرة وهمية، حيث يتخلى مطورو التشفير عن المشروع ويهربون بأموال المستثمرين.
"المراجحة" (Arbitraj#): وتشير إلى الشراء من بورصة ثم البيع لبورصة أخرى إذا كان الهامش بينهما مربحا، حيث تتداول البورصات المتعددة العملة المشفرة نفسها على أي رابط، ويمكنهم القيام بذلك بأسعار مختلفة.
"إلى القمر" (To the Moon#): يستخدم المستثمرون هذا المصطلح أو يرسلون رمزا تعبيريا صاروخيا عندما يعتقدون أن العملة المشفرة ستشهد طفرة.
