What is the relationship between a trading hawk and dreams?
Is it a journey of a soul toward glory and purpose?
Or is it that when the hawk rises amid the crowd,
it seeks itself between truth, illusion, and darkness?

For the hawk does not love the summit for the sake of status,
nor does it seek money to be said about it: “This one has wealth and dignity,”
Rather, it seeks in its loftiness meaning, and in its distance harmony.
It sees beyond every peak another peak, and beyond every ending a beginning of a new year.

It soars above the uproar when disputes intensify,
and it falls silent when greed speaks and noise rises in the assembly.
It watches the wind—does not defy it, and does not sell it control.
So whoever understands the wind’s movement does not need to fight it in every situation.

In the market, as in life, the person is revealed in the face of trial;
his fear appears at times of decline, his greed at times of rise, and his arrogance when he feels safe.
He may win a great deal of money, then lose his heart in the crowd;
he may lose a single deal, then gain awareness that accompanies him until the end.
