Blockchain development service provider Protofire tweeted that digital asset management platform Safe has launched zkSync Era.

It is reported that Safe is developed and maintained by Protofire and is recognized by Safe officials and Safe Guardian. Safe will take over the code in August and upgrade the code base to version 1.4. Once Safe takes over, no changes will be required to the project.

Protofire said that from a technical point of view, zkSync Era Safe is fully functional, with minimal changes to smart contracts (runtimeCode() is removed from ProxyFactory), and is currently being tested on the testnet for edge cases.
