Lugano Plan ₿ tweeted that more than 250 stores in Lugano, Switzerland accept Bitcoin payments.

It is reported that Lugano Plan ₿ is a joint initiative between the City of Lugano and Tether to accelerate the use of Bitcoin technology as the basis for transforming the city’s financial infrastructure. The plan will promote blockchain and Bitcoin throughout the city, hoping to have a positive impact on all aspects of daily life of Lugano residents, such as being used for small transactions by merchants, paying annual taxes, etc.
