The attacker’s address linked to the Ledger wallet incident at CryptoBilis transferred 2,990.3 ETH, worth approximately $7.45 million, to Tornado Cash on October 9–10, according to on-chain investigator Specter.

Tracking data shows that the attacker had previously dispersed funds across 14 addresses, then moved them cross-chain to the ZEC network via NEAR Intents and applied additional privacy measures.

Some withdrawal transactions reused wallet addresses that had previously been used for deposits. Other withdrawals were made from wallets linked to addresses that paid gas fees when the funds were stolen. These traces help researchers track the flow of funds across multiple routes on the blockchain.

Ledger confirmed that a user's device was affected in a supply chain security incident involving CryptoBilis, in which unauthorized hardware was implanted. The company is working with relevant parties and law enforcement to investigate. Ledger had advised buyers of devices from affected distribution channels that had not yet been initialized to stop using them temporarily; those who had already set them up may consider transferring their assets to a new device with a new recovery phrase.
