$ETH was the roller coaster at 2 a.m. really playing out exactly according to the script Steel Brother wrote?

The pre-sleep post was crystal clear in black and white: “After the data comes out, there’s a high probability it drops first and rises later; wait for the dust to settle before making a move.” And what happened? As soon as the Fed announced a 25-basis-point rate hike, along with the hardline message that there would be “no rate cuts this year,” the market instantly got slammed down to 2365!

At that moment, a lot of people were probably scared into cutting their losses, right? But then what? Before the bears even had time to pop champagne, the market made a sharp V-shaped reversal straight back to 2429. From 2365 to 2429, more than 60 points in a deep V, exactly matching what we said.

Why did it move like this? The logic isn’t complicated at all: a 25-basis-point hike was already more than 92% priced in by the market. Although the dot plot still said more hikes could come this year, and the language was tough, all of that was just bad news finally coming to fruition. The big players used a wave of panic selling to flush the last leveraged longs out of the market, then flipped around and squeezed the shorts. This is the classic “buy the rumor, sell the news.”

Next steps:
If you didn’t catch any blood-stained chips at 2365, don’t beat yourself up, and don’t blindly chase the rally right now.
The 2430-2450 area above is still a strong resistance zone, and the market will most likely continue to oscillate and digest around 2400. There’s another wave at 2:30 in a bit.
The market never waits for anyone, but it only leaves opportunities for those who are prepared. If you want to keep up with the live trading pace first thing, come find me directly at Steel Fortress. #美联储加息是否已成定局 #比特币ETF净流出4.5亿美元
