🇺🇸 CLARITY Act did not pass in the Senate!

On September 15, 2026, the U.S. Senate voted on a procedural step to move the CLARITY Act forward, but it passed by only 49–50 votes—while 60 votes were required.

📌 What is the CLARITY Act?
It is a draft bill intended to create a legal framework for Digital Assets in the United States by clarifying the roles of the SEC/CFTC and establishing clearer rules for Crypto Platforms.

📉 Market impact

BTC fell by about 4% during the market’s reaction
ETH fell more than 5%
XRP fell by about 10%
• Expectations for “regulatory clarity” in the United States have been postponed.

⚠️ But importantly:
This failure ≠ Crypto is banned
And ≠ the CLARITY Act is permanently dead

This is a failure to pass a “procedural vote,” and there is still a possibility that negotiations or further consideration will come back again.

👀 What Crypto Investors should watch:
1️⃣ New round of negotiations in the Senate
2️⃣ How the SEC & CFTC will carry out Crypto policy
3️⃣ Whether BTC/ETH can hold key Support levels
4️⃣ The legal path ahead before the Midterm Elections
