A 20-year-old boy lost all the money he saved from working for two years, and then turned it around to earn his first one million in life. I’d like to share a turnaround case of “sweeping the chain” with everyone—just treat it as something to laugh about.

At the beginning of 2025, through a friend, I got introduced to the crypto world. Back then, I didn’t know anything at all. I went straight into trading on-chain. At that time, the SOL chain just happened to have a bit of momentum, so I learned how to top up U, how to buy SOL, and how to transfer it to an on-chain wallet. After playing for just two or three days, I joined a bunch of WeChat groups to learn. However, unfortunately, I was set up by the team leader, and I ended up buying “Pixiu” instead—losing dozens of U. That day, it felt like the sky fell.

Later I browsed Twitter and saw lots of people playing scanning. At that time, I didn’t know what scanning was. I had curiosity, so I went to learn it. First, I joined a group. In the group I got to know tons and tons of big shots. At the time, I didn’t understand what narrative was, what angle was. I was like a complete newbie—I bought whatever looked like it was going up. In the first week after joining the group, I almost saw them post 100x golden-dog CA every day. Maybe it was the newb halo that helped me find golden dogs, but I personally didn’t catch any. However later, watching the group chats and listening to how other members analyzed the narrative, I slowly picked up a little bit of the basics.

After that, on the SOL chain, through scanning myself, I ate a fast-pass (a short-term explosive) play—about 20x. Although that time I didn’t make much, I suddenly gained insight. I learned how to read the narrative. I understood what “the angle” means. Slowly, I started becoming profitable on the SOL chain. Sometime around May, in one month I probably made 50k–60k RMB. I thought, I’ve finally figured it out. I resigned and went to my friend’s studio, scanning the chain together. At the time, my friend was especially kind to me—really took care of me. Even the rent was covered by him; I think it was about 2–3k RMB per month. I’ve remembered that ever since. I’m really lucky to have met him. A friend who doesn’t ask for anything in return but still brings you along—he truly was my benefactor.

But I never expected that after June, the SOL chain’s market basically disappeared. Every day I was anxious. I couldn’t make money. Over the past two years, I saved up only 30k RMB from my salary. Including what I earned on SOL, I had only around 50k RMB. Things got worse in July—I lost down to just 10k RMB. I was completely out of options. I finally understood: it wasn’t that I was so awesome—I was just getting fed by the market. There was nothing I could do. I went home. At the time, I felt like my life as a crypto trader was over. I was done. I was depressed for two months.

Almost all the way until early October, I saw that the previous group chats started getting active again. I noticed them discussing the BSC chain, so I opened it up—an on-chain scanning platform I hadn’t used for close to two months—to see what people were playing on-chain. I observed the BSC chain’s charts for a day or two. It felt like I could understand those plays. Then I thought, why not try it, play around. At that time, I only had 7k RMB left. I充值ed 0.1 BNB on Binance, and with that 0.1 BNB, I went on-chain to fight. Every time I bought 0.02 BNB—luckily, the first play I bought was that $狴犴. Back then I was out drinking, and when I opened my phone I happened to see it. It should have been during a dump. I thought the timing/angle was insanely good, so I bought 0.02 B. Result: I hit a 50x. Then I thought, holy sh*t, I’ve made several hundred U, so I hurriedly withdrew. Every day I kept 0.2 BNB in the account to scan the chain, to p (pvp means a paper-hand, pve means a diamond-hand).

Then it’s been like that—p, and p, and p, and p… in a blink of an eye, it’s almost been a year. I finally earned my first million in my life. I’m really so thankful to the BSC chain. It gave me a chance to turn things around, letting me earn wealth that shouldn’t belong to someone my age. I might keep deeply working on this chain, and I’ll slowly change my pvp habits too—trying to become a diamond-hand, especially for coins whose angle and narrative are really good.
