Donald Trump stated that Narendra Modi agreed to stop purchasing Russian oil, increase oil imports from the USA, and potentially start buying oil from Venezuela.

According to Trump, such steps could also help bring an end to the Ukrainian conflict.

The USA will reduce import duties on goods from India from 25% to 18%.

India, in turn, will reduce duties on American goods to zero.

Trump also reported that Modi committed to significantly expand the "buy American" policy, including purchases of American energy, technology, agricultural products, coal, and other goods totaling over $500 billion.
