🚀 SEC and Ripple End XRP Trial 📈

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs have dropped their appeals, ending one of the longest and most talked about cases in the crypto industry. The trial began in 2020, when the SEC accused Ripple of selling unregistered securities. As a result of the court’s recent ruling, the sale of XRP to institutional investors was found to be illegal, but the offering of tokens to retail investors on exchanges was legal.

On the back of this news, the price of XRP rose by 12%, reaching a new high of $3.34. Trading volumes for the cryptocurrency have increased significantly, and the number of large XRP holders continues to grow. At the same time, despite its recent success, XRP is still trading 13% below its all-time high.

Analysts at Standard Chartered predict further growth for XRP in the future, expecting it to reach $5.5 in 2023 and $12.5 by 2028.
