DOGS Staking Experience or Why We Will Never Set Foot in Telegram Wallet Promotions Again 😁
So, in the Telegram crypto wallet we have received a total of +8475.73 DOGS as a bonus over the last few days. Which is pretty good for the incomplete duration of the promotion. In fact, for a couple of days. Here is the result for one of the wallets:
We decided to withdraw everything ahead of schedule (it's possible, without losses) to one of the global crypto exchanges for a week of staking, also at 300% per annum. We need to do it today, so taking into account the TON freezes, we started yesterday. And we made a transfer from Binance. It arrived 5 hours later.
Next today we took up Telegram Wallet. The opportunity with new staking is another +5.75% per week, not bad. It would be possible to multiply the profit already received from the first staking. BUT it turned out that in order to withdraw DOGS from the Telegram wallet, you need to:
- Withdraw in batches of maximum 50,000 DOGS.
- Each transaction has a commission of 1,600 (!) DOGS, regardless of the amount.
After thinking about it, we came to the conclusion that we need to transfer. Staking on the Telegram wallet ends on August 31 anyway. And we need to get them out of there. When the fees there will return to normal (and whether they will) is the question. And we need to get into the action on the exchange today.
In total, 11,200 DOGS in fees were spent on transfers from Telegram Wallet to the exchange. Based on the results of staking in Telegram Wallet, we are in the minus by 2724.27 DOGS. Excellent service, excellent result 🤣.
And this is despite the fact that some subscribers complain that for withdrawing from exchanges to Telegram Wallet, they received a freeze on funds from the wallet and a requirement for additional verification. That is, not only did they earn nothing - now when withdrawing, they will also pay a commission of 16,000 tokens for every 50,000 tokens.
And this is despite the fact that Telegram Wallet is a flesh and blood product of the TON ecosystem. They should have loyal commissions. And they are 2.5-320 (!) times higher than those of exchanges. And with restrictions on the volume of withdrawal. Which makes the actual commission even higher.
We're done with our experiments with Telegram Wallet. It's a good wallet, so let's say goodbye to it.
All assets have been transferred to the stock exchange with a share, there is potential profit in the region of + 16,530 DOGS. It remains to hope that their commission will be more adequate. While DOGS withdrawals from there are closed, it will not be possible to check.
