According to TechFlow, Cointelegraph reported that Ripple CTO David Schwartz proposed that XRP Ledger (XRPL) validators support the automated market maker (AMM) function, provided that a consensus is reached within the community. The AMM feature is part of Ripple version 1.12.0 and will be integrated with the XRPL DEX. Although Schwartz believes that AMM is a compelling DeFi innovation, it has not yet been supported by validators. He also clarified the purpose of the Clawback function, emphasizing that it is to protect developers from potential legal liability, not an intrusion on XRPL users. After the community reaches a majority consensus, AMM will be launched within two weeks.
