Shenzhen TechFlow News, on October 5, Bitget released a report on the investment goals and behavior of global cryptocurrency enthusiasts. From May 2023 to August 2023, in-depth research was conducted in 20 countries around the world, including Europe, China, Japan, South Korea and Turkey, and the sampling subjects included 1,500 encryption enthusiasts. The survey conducted a comprehensive analysis of the financial goals and investment behaviors of respondents in the target countries. The survey results show that the most common financial goals of global cryptocurrency investors are to improve their living standards and improve their quality of life.
The report shows that 46% of South Korean crypto investors’ primary goal is to improve their living standards, while 36% of Malaysians and Taiwanese prioritize increasing household income. In addition, gender factors also affect financial goals. In South Korea, Japan, and Turkey, women have higher demand for crypto investments than men. In South Korea and Japan, the proportion of women who hope to improve their personal lives by investing in cryptocurrency is 49% and 41% respectively, while the proportions of men are 45% and 30%. In terms of investment amount, Chinese investors are the most active, with 19% of investments exceeding US$100,000. In Europe, Turkey and South Korea, about 50% of investors invest US$1,000-10,000 in cryptocurrency.
