VanEck, the investment management firm, has launched its Ethereum Strategy ETF following the approval of spot Ether exchange-traded funds by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The Ethereum Strategy ETF will trade on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) under the ticker EFUT. This ETF will aim to accumulate capital by investing in Ether futures contracts.
It should be noted that this fund has no direct exposure to Ether. The listing of this ETF on the CBOE is an important step in the integration of the cryptocurrency into traditional financial markets.
