📊 Yesterday,
$BTC was below its 3 four-hour moving averages. Today, it broke above the range and touched $84,898. Continuation or pullback?
Bitcoin is trading around $84,300 (+1.8% in 24 hours). Both bullish scenarios played out: it moved above $82,360 and then broke above the $83,420 high. The 4-hour EMAs 20, 50, and 200 ($82,300–$82,860) now act as support, and on the daily chart, it remains above the 50 EMA (~$80,640).
🔎 Levels I'm watching:
• Resistance: ~$84,900 (today's high) and $87,250 (20-day high).
• Support: $83,420 (the previous range high) and $82,300–$82,860 (the three 4-hour EMAs).
• 4-hour RSI: 63 → momentum is strong, but it isn't overbought yet.
• Funding: nearly 0% (neutral) and open interest +3.4% → the rally is attracting new leverage.
📈 Bullish scenario: a 4-hour close above $84,900 puts $87,250 in view as the next level.
📉 Bearish scenario: if it loses $83,420, the next support is the EMA cluster (~$82,600).
What to watch: the breakout candle came with volume 23% above its average, but with more leverage coming in, a pullback could be sharp. Can it hold above $83,420? 👇
