In its third update on the hacking incident, Binance announced that the recovery rate for stolen assets had risen to 90%, up from around 80% in the previous update. It confirmed that more than $6.34 billion in company funds had been allocated to cover the losses and that users would not bear any financial burden resulting from the incident.
The platform explained that ten major cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, and SOL, were now fully covered at 100%, while it continued to purchase the remaining assets, which account for 10% of the total amount, due to their low liquidity in the markets.
