Binance Alpha 2.0 has been officially confirmed. The NES contract swap will be completed on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). Affected users are advised to carefully verify the following key time points:
1. Swap target
Users holding NES as of 22:51 on August 24 (when deposits and withdrawals are closed), and who still hold the qualifying portion as of 12:00 on September 5 (when trading is paused), will have their contracts swapped on a 1:1 basis.
2. Boundary cases
NES newly purchased after 22:51 on August 24 is not included in this swap and will be refunded separately.
3. Refund notification
Users who have a net buy position of NES during the period from 22:51 on August 24 to 12:00 on September 5 will receive an official email within 7 working days. The email will clearly state the refund amount and the settlement method. After receiving the email, it is recommended to first verify your position snapshot, then confirm the receiving network and wallet.
4. Trading resumption
Nesa (NES) trading on Binance Alpha 2.0 is expected to resume at 16:00 on September 10. After resumption, price spreads and slippage may fluctuate for a short period. It is recommended to execute trades in batches.
5. Background recap
Previously, Bubblemaps revealed that the attacker attempted to steal approximately $50 million worth of NES by exploiting a Cosmos EVM shared-module vulnerability, but only about $60,000 was actually obtained. This swap plan can be viewed as the official positive response to the ecosystem incident.
Recommendations for holders:
1. Check your official email address (including the spam/junk folder);
2. Record your snapshot balance as of 12:00 on September 5;
3. After the swap is completed, verify your BEP20 on-chain address holdings;
4. Avoid using high leverage after trading resumes.
