Newbie's Guide to Position Management in Crypto ⭐ If you're a gambler, love to YOLO, thrive on wild swings, crave excitement, and enjoy the quick rush, you're probably not too concerned about position management; ⭐ If you're drowning in debt and getting daily reminders from online lenders, you likely don't have the patience to learn about position management; all you're chasing is the dream of sudden wealth and fantasy. ⭐ If you're a seasoned bag holder who's really felt the pain of losses, been wrecked by the market, and experienced multiple liquidations, you probably already have a sense of position management and experience. ⭐ Most of the casualties in this market aren't due to failed strategies or poor skills, but rather from mistakes in position management, whether it's over-leveraging or adding to losing positions.

$BTC $ETH Here is an overview of the key trading levels on the 4H timeframe.
The trading style best suited for retail traders: enter in batches at key levels, and take profit in batches and exit at key levels.
🚀 Suggested batch position sizing ratios:
Two tranches: 1-2 or 3-7 Three tranches: 2-3-5 or 1-2-4
If you’re making a bet on a single level: it’s recommended to use a tight stop loss. For example, if you go short from 65370 on a big coin (BTC), set a stop loss at the breakout above 66000, then continue shorting at 66757, with a stop loss at 67500’s breakout. Another example: go short at 1952 on ETH, set a stop loss at a breakout above the prior high at 1980 or the 2000 round number, then short again around 2050-2060, and set a stop loss if 2085 breaks out.
$SNDK Last night the live stream followed the set levels and left room for SanDisk.
Now I’ve reduced position and banked some profit—down to half position. The remaining portion must definitely definitely be protected at breakeven. Look at the range 1370-1305.
If you’re unwilling to reduce because you’re greedy, you still must definitely definitely protect at breakeven. Be prepared for the possibility that you might not make even a single cent.
The earnings report at midnight may bring a sudden spike and sharp drop—don’t bet on the direction of the report. If you go short again from the high level, place the short order directly at 1515-1525. If it breaks above 1550, cut loss. Long entry levels should remain unchanged from the positions shown in the chart.
For reference only—don’t put on heavy leverage. Trade short-term.
“Now how should we look at it—will it rise or fall?”
If you’re still interrogating the market every day with this question, it means you still don’t have your own trading system and logic.
For all instruments, what the market does right now matters less than whether, if it rises, there’s a place to short, and if it falls, there’s a place to go long. The core is the trading location, not the current random up-or-down direction that can go either way.
You can try to understand it like this: you’re a hunter hunting in the jungle. The most effective way to hunt isn’t shooting in all directions. Instead, after observing, you choose an excellent spot, set bait and a trap, and wait for the prey. That spot is the key level.
So the habitual questions going forward should be:
“Where should one go long, and where should one short?”
Take a careful look. Even if someone with no credibility is drawing lines, you still need to see whether the market is at a high level or a low level.
Although everything is still in a 4H downtrend right now, you need to be careful that price could break out of the trend at any time. It’s better to be conservative with entry points and avoid being too aggressive. When the market gets boring and stable for too long, it’s easier for it to swing to extremes.
⚡️ $BTC
The short position entry around 64051 mentioned in last night’s live stream is already an aggressive level—we’ve used it once before. If you take a short again, be careful: if you’re not fully confident, it’s better to avoid using this level. For a new entry, refer again to the area around 65370 shown in the chart.
⚡️ $ETH
The aggressive short position entry in the 1870–1880 range mentioned in last night’s live stream has also already been used once. If you enter a short again, don’t reuse this level. For a new entry, refer to the position shown on the chart.
You should develop the habit of using partial entries and partial take-profits.
🚨 Recommended allocation for two positions: 1-2, 3-7 🚨 Recommended allocation for three positions: 2-3-5, 1-2-4

$ETH Early-morning live stream of this ETH long: 1,846 positions. 1,821 is doing a double down for averaging in. The current move has already exceeded expectations in terms of the upward gain. If you participated, you should use the remaining position to move the stop-loss to 1860 or take profit.
Bitcoin and Ethereum 4H key levels update—only as weekend/within-day reference points for long/short entries (if there are no weekend events affecting the market, there may be no opportunity to provide entry points)
Cultivate the habit of scaling in and scaling out for both entries and take-profits.
$BTC $ETH 1D From an overall perspective, currently the broader structure still tends to be oscillating, rather than trending in a single direction or having a sustained bull comeback.
