Is it just me or does the market have it out for me? ๐
Hey, community! I haven't been around for a few days, but everything's been happening on the charts. Should I share? Twice this week... TWICE! I set my Stop Loss right where the strategy says to, and then a sneaky wick comes along, kicks me out of the position, and a minute later the price blasts off like a rocket without me.
Honestly, sometimes I feel like closing the laptop and not looking at any candlesticks for a month. But after I cool down, I start to think: these whales are masters of deception.
They can smell our fear (and the stops). They know that right at that exact point, there are thousands of orders from us "small fish" and theyโre ready to hunt us down to gain momentum and keep climbing. Thatโs their fuel; that's how cold this game is.
My lesson from these days (learned the hard way):
If the candle looks too "pretty" and easy, be suspicious.
Sometimes itโs better to give the stop a little more breathing room, even if it makes us nervous.
And most importantly: if you get swept, donโt try to "get revenge" on the market by jumping in recklessly, because thatโs when you end up giving them your balance.
Anyway... just the nature of the trade. Who else has been left in the lurch this week because of a little "stop-hunting" wick? Donโt tell me Iโm the only one; comfort me in the comments! ๐
