How to Reactivate the Withdrawal Function for My Binance Account?

How to Reactivate the Withdrawal Function for My Binance Account?

2020-01-08 08:12

Why is my withdrawal function suspended?

To protect your account's security, after performing certain security operations, such as changing your password, your account's withdrawal function will be temporarily suspended for 24 to 48 hours. The withdrawal function will be automatically reactivated after the suspension period. This security measure intends to protect your assets. Please note that the suspension cannot be lifted before the suspension period ends.
The withdrawal function will also be temporarily disabled if the system detects abnormal activities in your account. Some error messages you may see include:
1. Your withdrawal may be at risk. You can try again in 24 hours.
Your withdrawal is currently under review. Please wait patiently for any emails with regards to the latest status of your withdrawal.
If you cannot receive any emails from Binance, please follow the instructions here to check your email’s settings.
2. Your withdrawal may be at risk. You can try again in 48 hours.
This is a security measure to protect your assets. Please wait for 48 hours as the suspension cannot be lifted.
3. Your withdrawal function may be suspended due to risk of fraudulent activity.
When a withdrawal seemingly links to identified patterns of fraudulent action, it may trigger Binance’s anti-scam measures. This may include requiring users to complete an anti-scam questionnaire to stay vigilant of risks of fraudulent transactions, requesting acknowledgement of warning messages before processing a withdrawal, and implementing cool-down periods as an additional layer of security.

How to verify my account when my withdrawal function is temporarily disabled?

You may complete identity verification on the Binance website or app. For more details, please visit How to Complete Identity Verification for a Personal Account?.
After completing the identity verification, please wait patiently for the team to review your application. Once approved, your account’s withdrawal function will be resumed shortly.
If you cannot pass the verification, go to the Withdraw Crypto page and click [Withdraw appeal] on the alert, then submit the required documents.
Alternatively, go to [Wallets] on the Binance app and tap [Spot] - [Withdraw]. You’ll see a pop-up window. Tap [Appeal] and follow the instructions.
If you cannot see the [Appeal] button, please contact Binance Support for assistance.
Facial verification may fail due to technical difficulties or device issues. To mitigate this, Binance introduces an appeal system for users to verify their accounts manually by our dedicated auditors.
If you encountered difficulties when completing the facial verification, you can submit an appeal by following the steps below.
1. Click [Appeal] and you’ll be redirected to the [Facial Verification Appeal] page. You may need to answer security questions before submitting an appeal. Please answer the questions carefully or your appeal may be rejected.
2. You’ll need to provide certain materials for the appeal. Follow the instructions and examples provided on the page to complete the verification.
If you encounter any difficulties in providing the materials, or if you have any additional information that can help us process your appeal, please include it under the [Additional Information] section.
3. Your appeal will be reviewed shortly. Please wait patiently. We’ll notify you of the result via SMS or email.
To secure users’ accounts and maintain platform integrity, Binance occasionally enforces restrictions on specific accounts. Under certain circumstances, these activities include provisional proactive restrictions on withdrawal or trading functionalities.
Binance is committed to providing a secure platform for users and upholding the safety and transparency of all operations to maintain a secure environment for all. Therefore, under normal circumstances, when restrictions are implemented on an account, Binance will promptly inform the affected users via email, SMS, or in-app notifications. This allows the affected users to better understand the cause and the subsequent actions they can take.
Furthermore, affected users will also see a pop-up message on their next login attempt. They can view more details on the reasons behind the trading and/or withdrawal suspensions.
In case further inquiries are needed regarding these restrictions, or you wish to appeal against such suspensions, please contact Customer Service directly.
However, please note that not all account restrictions are open for appeal. This is particularly true in instances involving law enforcement orders or regulatory obligations. To learn more about such instances and their implications, please visit My Account is Locked: What do I Do?.
