Last weekend, rumors that “Trump would launch a new coin on the Robinhood chain” successfully ignited the market.

Amid the interweaving of rumors, insider information, and on-chain anomalies, the TRUMP token once broke through $3.4, reaching the highest level since March. The official TRUMP team also took advantage of the momentum to sell millions of tokens, cashing out over $9.15 million. On the other hand, Robinhood’s stock price jumped along, with HOOD rising by more than 11% at one point.

However, this farce came to an abrupt end with Eric Trump, the former president’s son, debunking the rumor. But given the Trump family’s prior track record in crypto projects, it’s still hard to say whether there will really be a sequel.

Every TV in the office immediately switched to a live broadcast from the Tokyo branch—buildings violently shaking on screen. Then we switched to the news channel and watched firsthand as the tsunami swept across Japan's northeastern coast. The scene was shocking. Worse still, the Fukushima nuclear power plant caught fire. Only afterward did we learn that radiation had at one point nearly forced the entire city of Tokyo to evacuate.
