Today's Crypto Brief | November 1 Good evening, friends! There's just one big story today: Binance withdrawals are back!!! 1️⃣ Binance opened withdrawals for its first batch of networks today at 2 p.m. Beijing time, with BTC leading the way, followed by ETH, BNB, USDT/USDC, and more—15 networks in total. The official statement says about 95% of the stolen assets have been replenished~ My take: Get withdrawals back online first—that matters more than any amount of reassuring talk! The remaining networks are still undergoing security checks, so don't rush to test the waters on some obscure chain. 2️⃣ Whale Alert tracked the first three hours after withdrawals opened and saw roughly $2 billion flow out of Binance: 10,000 BTC (about $779 million), nearly $1 billion in USDT, $200 million in USDC, and 30,000 ETH. My feeling: It's totally normal for people who've been waiting three days to withdraw. Whether they're moving funds or selling at a loss is hard to say, but there hasn't been a bank-run-style panic—that's good news! 3️⃣ That promised “Sunday pump” never came, haha~ BTC is now hovering around $78,000, up less than 1% in 24 hours. October was down about 7.3% overall, and the Fear & Greed Index fell from 70 to 36. Bitfinex sees $75,000 as support; reclaiming $80,000 would be a sign of recovery. My take: Sentiment is in fear territory. I'm not chasing or panicking—I'll just gradually buy the dips when prices reach my levels. 4️⃣ On the hacking front: The FBI has attributed the attack to North Korea's TraderTraitor; the stolen funds were mainly converted into ETH and then laundered. Around $2.8 billion in stablecoins have been frozen so far. Seriously, stablecoins can be frozen, but BTC and ETH can't—this is another lesson for everyone! Know where your coins are held. 5️⃣ A quick note on U.S. stocks: Alphabet had a record single-day drop this week, and Intel fell 29% in one day. AI spending is eating into profits, and sentiment around tech stocks isn't great either. What to watch tomorrow: Binance's promised zero-knowledge proof of reserves (expected November 3), the U.S. election, and the November 6 nonfarm payrolls report. If the proof of reserves checks out cleanly, the market should be able to breathe a little easier! Did you withdraw your coins today, friends? Did you take them out or leave them there? Bros!! October was a straight-up gut punch the whole month!!! Investing.com’s recap today (November 1): Bitcoin opened October at around 83,600 and closed near 77,600, down about 7.3% for the month. It hit a low of around 76,300 during the month. The CoinMarketCap Fear and Greed Index was even wilder: it was around 70 (Greed) on October 4, then crashed to around 36 (Fear) on October 30—less than a month to go from greedy to scared, haha. Bitfinex sees around 75,000 as a key support level. For a proper rebound, Bitcoin first needs to reclaim 80,000. Open interest in futures also hit a five-week high of around 686,000 BTC—sentiment is shaky, but positions are still hefty. CoinGecko has Bitcoin hovering around 77,800, ETH around 2,268, BNB around 705, and SOL around 96. Honestly, the withdrawal window opening today doesn’t mean the panic will disappear overnight. Don’t take “the index is in Fear” as a green light to go all-in on leveraged dip-buying. Stay alive first!!! Do you think this wave of fear has run its course, or will 75,000 get tested again? $BTC $ETH #恐惧贪婪 #Crypto

Folks!! The withdrawal window has officially been announced!!! Binance Recovery Update #4 (November 1): The first phase of withdrawals opens today from 14:00–17:00 Beijing time (UTC 06:00–09:00)~ The first batch of networks/assets will be rolled out gradually: BTC, ETH, BNB, TRX, SOL, XRP, ZEC, DOGE, TON, POL, AVAX, ARB, BASE, OP, SUI, and so on. Check the withdrawal page/network status page for the latest details. Deposits have remained open the whole time. Reserves have also been bumped up another notch: from roughly 90% to roughly 95%—the top ten (BTC/ETH/USDT/BNB/SOL/USDC/XRP/USD1/RLUSD/ZEC) are still reportedly fully covered at 100%; the remaining roughly 5% is in less liquid small-cap coins, which they’re still sourcing on the market/OTC~ The company continues to say that users won’t bear the losses. Heads-up: traffic will be heavy at first, so delays and failed attempts are possible. Just try again a little later—don’t freak out over scary messages in the group chat haha. CoinGecko has BTC hovering around 77.8K, ETH around 2,266, and BNB around 705~ Seriously, the window opening ≠ your withdrawal arriving instantly. Keep an eye on official channels and your own account status!!! Are you all planning to withdraw right at opening, or wait and see if things are stable? $BTC $BNB $ETH #币安 #提现 #Crypto

Bros!! The FBI has officially confirmed it!!! Over the weekend, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a cybersecurity alert, naming TraderTraitor, a North Korean state-sponsored hacking group, as the main culprit behind this roughly $6B+ Binance theft. It’s the same crew that pulled off the roughly $1.5B Bybit heist last year (FBI / AP / ABC, Oct 31–Nov 1)~ They’ve observed that most of the stolen assets are being converted into ETH, and expect the group to keep laundering funds through DeFi and instant-swap services. They’ve also called on exchanges and blockchain analytics firms to monitor the listed addresses and block related transfers. CoinGecko has BTC hovering around $77.7K right now, ETH at about $2,268, and BNB around $703~ Honestly, attribution by private companies is one thing, but an FBI confirmation is on another level. Don’t mistake “still under investigation” for “nothing to worry about” and call it a day, haha. How much do you think they’ll recover—or should we just keep an eye on whether withdrawals actually reopen? $BTC $ETH #FBI #朝鲜 #crypto

Bros!! After a round of liquidations, leveraged positions have quietly crept back up again!!! CryptoSlate is keeping an eye on things today (November 1): during that hacker-driven sell-off, Block Scholes recorded about $1.53 billion in liquidations, with longs bearing roughly 80% of the hit. But Coinalyze’s October 31 snapshot showed open interest in BTC-related contracts at around $28 billion notional, up about 3% over 24 hours. Binance’s BTC-USDT perpetual also briefly climbed around 4.5% on the night of the sell-off (Block Scholes). On the fund-flow front, U.S. spot BTC ETFs still saw about $643 million in outflows on the last trading day (October 30), according to Farside—there are no fresh weekend flows to read. CoinGecko has BTC hovering around $77,700, ETH around $2,264, and BNB around $702. Honestly, prices recovering doesn’t mean positions have really been cleared out. Don’t take “the sell-off is over” as a green light to pile on leverage. Keep an eye on November 6, when nonfarm payrolls come out. If sentiment turns, leverage will be the first to get burned, haha. Folks!!! Today is Binance’s stated target date for withdrawals!!! Official update #3 (Recovery Update #3, October 31): Replenishment of stolen assets has risen from around 80% to 90%—these ten assets, BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC, are reportedly 100% ready; the remaining roughly 10% consists of smaller, less liquid coins that they’re still gradually buying on the market/OTC~ The funds are coming from the company treasury + some SAFU funds + the futures insurance fund, and the company says losses won’t be passed on to users (Binance announcement / CoinDesk). But note: as of now, it’s still “on track to open Sunday (November 1),” and details are pending further confirmation—don’t treat the target date as proof that withdrawals are already open, haha. The proof-of-reserves snapshot was taken at 00:00 UTC on October 31; the complete zero-knowledge proof will probably take until around November 3 to calculate. CoinGecko currently has BTC hovering around 77,600, ETH around 2,266, and BNB around 703~I’m serious, keep a close eye today on whether they actually announce that withdrawals are open. Don’t believe rumors flying around in the groups!!! Is the withdrawal button lit up in your account yet, or is it still greyed out? $BTC $BNB #币安 #提现 #Crypto

Today's Crypto Brief | October 31 1) The biggest weekend drama is still Binance withdrawals!!! The second reopening is tentatively expected to happen in batches around Sunday (November 1), and the proof-of-reserves results are said to be coming out on November 2—but as of Saturday night, there still hasn't been an official announcement saying “withdrawals are back.” Don't treat the schedule like a countdown and call it a day~ The impact is estimated at about $6.3 billion, with roughly $3 billion frozen on-chain, and the company has set aside around $6.34 billion as a backstop. Seriously, the main thing is to reopen only after the security checks are done!!! 2) The amount of BTC stolen is shocking too: CoinDesk tracked about 18,270 BTC (worth around $1.4 billion), more than Tesla holds and roughly twice El Salvador's reserves~ Chainalysis pointed the finger at North Korea's TraderTraitor, and Trump says it's under investigation too. Attribution aside, recovering the stolen funds and reopening withdrawals are what we should really be watching, haha. 3) The money flows have completely turned around: Farside has the full numbers—US spot BTC ETFs saw net outflows of about $643.2 million on October 30 (the biggest single-day outflow since June). IBIT shed about $233.7 million, FBTC about $201 million, and ARKB about $129.5 million; ETH ETFs shed another roughly $156 million that same day. BTC ETFs saw net outflows of around $516 million for October as a whole~ All the small inflows from the past few days have been wiped out!!! 4) Don't let your guard down with hardware wallets either: Trezor warned that Safe 5 devices sold by Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis were reported to contain suspicious implants. Anyone who bought one from them after March is advised to move to a new wallet with a new seed phrase. A major exchange just blew up, and now there's trouble with cold-wallet distribution channels too~ This weekend, just make sure you use official channels. Overall: The market is grinding sideways tonight (CoinGecko has BTC around $77,300, ETH around $2,243, BNB around $704, and SOL around $95). Tomorrow, keep a close eye on whether withdrawals actually reopen; on Monday, watch for the proof of reserves. Don't go wild with leverage!!! Guys!! On-chain analysis has just nailed down who’s responsible even harder!!! A post on Chainalysis’s official blog names names: they believe North Korean hacking group TraderTraitor was behind this huge Binance heist. The key evidence is that the stolen Binance funds were mixed on-chain with the batch stolen from Bitget last month (Chainalysis/BBC, Oct. 30–31)~ The money-laundering tactics were pretty intense too: in about 20 minutes, roughly 325 million stablecoins were swapped for around 285 million ETH, specifically to avoid being frozen by issuers. After that, they spotted tens of thousands of automated transfers, with many addresses first receiving exactly 1 TRX before passing the funds along, haha. CoinGecko has BTC hovering around $77,200 right now, and ETH around $2,240~ Honestly, the president saying it’s “under investigation” is one thing, but on-chain firms have already named names. Don’t take “no official attribution yet” to mean “nothing to see here.” Let’s keep an eye on the freezes and recovery efforts this weekend!!! Do you put more faith in Chainalysis’s attribution, or would you rather wait for the U.S. government to make it official? $BTC $ETH #币安 #Chainalysis #crypto

Hey folks!! There’s trouble in the hardware wallet supply chain too!!! Trezor just issued an official warning: Some Safe 5 devices sold by Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis were reported to contain suspicious hardware implants—a small board with a cellular module that could steal the recovery phrase displayed on the screen and transmit it as soon as the device is plugged in~ (Trezor’s website/CoinTelegraph/The Block, October 30–31) They haven’t inspected the device in a lab yet, but they’ve issued a warning based on credible reports: If you bought one from CryptoBilis after March, move your coins to a “new wallet + new recovery phrase” ASAP!!! So far, they say they haven’t received any reports of stolen funds, and four other devices they inspected were fine. Guys!! Trump has weighed in on the Binance situation too!!! When reporters asked him in the Oval Office whether North Korean hackers were behind it, he said he didn’t know, but “We’re looking at that”—the U.S. is investigating. Asked if the money could be recovered, he relayed Binance’s claim: “They say they’re going to get it back; it’s basically under control.” He also joked that crypto is a bit dangerous because you “can’t see the money,” haha (Yahoo/AA/The Straits Times, Oct. 30–31). Hey, folks!! Binance has put out its second update!!! The second announcement, signed by He Yi and Richard Teng: the tech team aims to begin restoring withdrawals in batches within about 34 hours—provided the security checks are complete. Deposits and other unaffected services are running as usual~ On the funds side, they say they’ve prepared around 6.34 billion+, of which around 5 billion corresponds to the stolen assets, covering roughly 80%; they’ll source the rest from the market/OTC. The first proof-of-reserves snapshot is expected to be taken within about 12 hours, with results to be announced on November 2. As for the investigation: they’ve found more leads beyond the laptop, and so far there’s no evidence that the wallet private keys were compromised. More technical details are expected in about 48 hours~ CoinGecko has BTC hovering around 77,300, ETH around 2,240, and BNB around 704~ Honestly, the timeline sounds pretty soon, but the key point is “only reopen after thorough testing.” Don’t treat 34 hours as a countdown to the market reopening and call it a day, haha. The second announcement, signed by He Yi and Richard Teng: the tech team aims to begin restoring withdrawals in batches within about 34 hours—provided the security checks are complete. Deposits and other unaffected services are running as usual~

On the funds side, they say they’ve prepared around 6.34 billion+, of which around 5 billion corresponds to the stolen assets, covering roughly 80%; they’ll source the rest from the market/OTC. The first proof-of-reserves snapshot is expected to be taken within about 12 hours, with results to be announced on November 2. As for the investigation: they’ve found more leads beyond the laptop, and so far there’s no evidence that the wallet private keys were compromised. More technical details are expected in about 48 hours~

CoinGecko has BTC hovering around 77,300, ETH around 2,240, and BNB around 704~ Honestly, the timeline sounds pretty soon, but the key point is “only reopen after thorough testing.” Don’t treat 34 hours as a countdown to the market reopening and call it a day, haha.

Are you more concerned about when withdrawals will reopen, or would you rather wait for the proof of reserves?

Bros!!! ETFs flipped overnight!!! Farside just posted: U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw estimated net outflows of about $409.5 million on Oct. 30—after taking in a modest $17.2 million the day before, they’ve spat it all back out!!! FBTC saw about $201 million out, ARKB about $129.5 million, GBTC about $53.3 million, and BITB about $25.7 million~ CoinGecko has BTC hovering around $77.4K, ETH around $2,240, and BNB around $706~After the hacking news sent prices tumbling, institutions got spooked too, haha. Seriously, don’t treat “inflows for several days in a row” as some ironclad rule and call it a day. Keep an eye on the withdrawal recovery progress this weekend, and don’t go piling on leverage!!! Do you think the outflows are done and things will calm down, or will the sell-off continue on Monday? $BTC #ETF #Crypto

Crypto News Brief | October 30 1) Binance is the biggest story today!!! The official estimate puts the impact at around 6.3 billion, with roughly 3 billion frozen on-chain. Early signs point to a DevOps laptop being compromised, and more entry points were uncovered afterward~ Deposits are reportedly back to normal, but withdrawals are still paused; officials estimate they’ll resume within about 48 hours, with SAFU and company funds as backstops. Honestly, the biggest thing to watch out for these next few days is fake links trying to get you to pay twice. Stick to official channels, folks!!! 2) Options expiry has also come and gone: the Deribit batch was around 11 billion, with a settlement price of about 78,119 (some put max pain around 78,000–79,000). This evening, Bitcoin was hovering around 77,700 on CoinGecko, down about 3% over 24 hours; ETH was around 2,245, BNB was weaker, down about 5%, and SOL had fallen to around 97~ No immediate bounce after expiry—the market’s still grinding sideways, haha. 3) A wave of leveraged longs got wiped out: CoinGlass/CoinDesk tracked around 1.5 billion in liquidations, with longs taking the biggest hit. Geoffrey Kendrick of Standard Chartered said outright that things may continue to grind in the short term, and we’ll have to wait for the frozen assets to be released and more details about the hack to emerge~ He thinks the share of trading on DEXs could keep rising after the CEX incident. 4) The flow of funds is pulling in different directions: U.S. spot BTC ETFs still saw net inflows of around 17.2 million on October 29 (a small inflow for the fourth day in a row); HYPE went against the trend, gaining nearly 10%~ The AI spending narrative took another hit in U.S. stocks: Amazon plunged sharply pre-market, Intel fell even harder, and Nasdaq futures were also weak. Risk assets were all looking limp. Overall: Keep a close eye on withdrawal resumption tonight, and don’t mistake “ETF inflows are still coming in” for a signal to pile on leverage!!! What do you think—will things keep grinding over the weekend, or bounce as soon as deposits and withdrawals reopen? $BTC $ETH $BNB #加密快报 #Crypto

Crypto fam!! The market’s getting hammered, but ETFs are still buying!!! Farside just posted an update: US spot BTC ETFs saw roughly $17.2 million in net inflows on October 29—that’s four straight days of inflows! IBIT saw about $12.8 million, FBTC about $10.5 million, and BITB about $8.8 million; Grayscale’s Mini Trust, on the other hand, had outflows of around $15.3 million~ CoinGecko has BTC hovering just above $78,500 right now, still down around 2% over 24h; ETH is around $2,240, and BNB is even weaker~ Hacker news is spooking people on one side, while institutions are still nibbling away on the other, haha. Honestly, $17.2 million isn’t a huge amount. Don’t take “four straight days of inflows” as a signal to crank up your leverage. Do you think this is real dip-buying, or just noise? $BTC #ETF #Crypto

Homies!! Leveraged longs got wiped out in a big way today!!! CoinDesk spotted around $1.5 billion in liquidations across the market, with longs taking the biggest hit—about $468 million in Bitcoin and $358 million in ETH. CoinGecko shows Bitcoin hovering just above $78,000, ETH around $2,240, and BNB still looking soft~ Standard Chartered’s Geoffrey Kendrick put it plainly: things may stay choppy in the short term. We’ll have to wait for frozen assets to be unlocked and more details about the hack to come out before the market might find a new bottom. He also suggested taking another look at Uniswap—if something goes wrong with a CEX, DEX market share could keep climbing haha. Honestly, a security incident is one thing, but don’t take “it’s crashed” as a signal to go all-in on leveraged bets in the opposite direction. Do you think this sell-off needs more time to run its course, or will we only see a decent rebound once deposits and withdrawals resume? $BTC $ETH #清算 #Crypto

Folks!! Another round of security news today!!! Something happened to the international Polymarket prediction market site on Thursday—not a breach of its own core systems, but its third-party monitoring service DebugBear was compromised. Malicious scripts used active login sessions to liquidate positions and drain wallets. Analysts estimate the incident affected around 2.7 million in value and involved roughly 710 wallets (CNBC/CoinDesk, October 29). The platform temporarily halted trading, then resumed after about an hour. It said affected users would be fully reimbursed and that it had reported the incident to law enforcement in the UK. The US platform reportedly wasn’t affected. Seriously, folks: a major exchange just got hit the other day, and now it’s a supply-chain attack. Think twice before running any scripts or granting permissions. Don’t just watch out for big exchanges—even a little plugin can drain your wallet, haha. Do you still use prediction markets? Or are you sitting this one out and watching for now? #Polymarket #安全 #Crypto

Folks!! The whole market is dumping, but HYPE is stubbornly going against the trend!!! ICE, the parent company of the NYSE, just announced a deal with Trade[XYZ]: they're bringing Hyperliquid-style perpetual contracts to the US regulated market—with ICE as the exclusive operator and taking a strategic stake. The offerings will cover crypto, stocks, commodities, and forex, though they still need regulatory approval, of course (ICE/CoinDesk, Oct. 29). HYPE is currently a little over $90 on CoinGecko, up a whopping roughly 15% in 24 hours. Meanwhile, BTC is still hovering around $77K, and BNB is soft too—it's the only one bucking the trend, haha. Honestly, the market can keep dumping, but a traditional exchange bringing on-chain perps into the US mainstream is the real story here. But let's not get carried away—it's not approved or live yet, so don't treat “news” as “time to ape in.” Do you think this will really happen, or will approvals drag on forever again? $HYPE #Hyperliquid #Crypto

Bros!! Binance is in chaos!!! The official statement calls it a “potential security incident,” and deposits and withdrawals have been temporarily paused while they investigate. Tether has frozen around 1.5B+ USDT, and Circle has frozen 800M+ USDC—about 2.5 billion combined (CNBC). On-chain analytics firm Arkham flagged around 6 billion in related addresses, and Chainalysis also estimated roughly 5.9 billion—but nothing’s been fully confirmed yet, so don’t believe the panic-mongering in group chats. Binance says user funds are safe and it will cover any losses. Bitcoin is currently hovering just above $77K on CoinGecko, and BNB is softening too. Honestly, the worst thing in a situation like this is getting tricked into paying again through a fake link~ Stick to official channels and don’t click random links. Hey guys!! It expires this afternoon!!! That batch of BTC options on Deribit settles at around 16:00 Beijing time (08:00 UTC)—the notional value on the public order book is roughly $10.8–11 billion, about a third of their open interest. Most of the calls are still piled up in the $90k–$100k fantasy zone, and right now they’re looking pretty likely to expire worthless haha. CoinGecko had BTC around $76.7k this morning, down about 4% over 24 hours; ETH was around $2,190, and SOL couldn’t even hold $100, slipping to around $94~ The Fed just wrapped up and now we’ve got expiry too, so the market’s softening while it waits. Some people put max pain around $78k–$79k, but don’t treat it like gospel!!! Seriously, volatility could get wild around expiry, so just don’t go cranking up your leverage. What do you think is more likely after expiry: a sigh of relief and a bounce, or more grinding lower? $BTC $ETH #期权到期 #Crypto
