Caixin, via PANews, reported on October 13 that the UK High Court ruled that property claims to more than 61,000 bitcoins in the Tianjin Lantian Gerui illegal fundraising case $BTC must be recognized under Chinese law, not British law. The current price is 82510.6, down 1.55% in 24 hours, and the market has barely reacted to the news. About 16,000 Chinese victims who have already joined the recovery proceedings in the UK may not be able to claim the appreciation following the price surge; their recovery may be capped at principal plus interest. The coins remain locked up in cross-border recovery proceedings, while the scope of what can be distributed has been narrowed by jurisdiction. What concerns me more is that if these coins are valued only at principal, there could be a huge gap between that amount and their secondary-market price of over 80,000. Do you think recovery should be limited to principal plus interest, or is there still room to claim the appreciation? #跨境追索 #加密监管
The unlock is already weighing on the price: $STRK is currently at 0.09245, down 23.40% in 24 hours. It’s still up 81.7% over seven days, but that one day has given back a big chunk of the short-term gains. I’m more focused on the 127 million tokens set to unlock on October 15. A sudden increase in supply could put pressure on the price; if it breaks below 0.083, the next level is marked at 0.06. A big weekly gain and the sell pressure coming later are two different things. $ZRO is currently at 2.40, up 17.8% in 24 hours, and has already moved above 2.19. If the weekly candle closes above this level, the next targets are 2.54 to 2.60, with 3.04 further up. One has tokens being released, while the other is testing resistance—the seven-day gainers list doesn’t mean they follow the same logic. Before the unlock takes effect, for $STRK , are you more focused on supply or on the 0.083 level? #供给 #解锁
For the top 100 chart before October 12, which figure should $STRK ’s drop be calculated from? The title says it fell 23.25%, with the current price at $0.09156; in the same reference, there is also a 24-hour -23.44% and 0.09084 USDT. It’s not just one zero off, but it’s already not the same price, nor the same drop. On the gain side, $PYTH is 13.30%, with the current price at $0.08733; at least the numbers are consistent. So I’ll暂时 only treat “the biggest drop today” as a headline claim, and wait until these two prices are unified before taking it seriously. Which side does the $STRK on your screen look closer to now? #市值榜 #行情核对
$CTK was up 11.01%, but only about $1.08 million traded over thirteen minutes—that combination looks odd. The price shot from 0.1435 to 0.1593, a sharp percentage move, but the money behind it was thin. The same market data lists the current price as 0.1535 and the 24-hour gain as 17%, so 0.1593 looks more like a briefly touched high than a level the price held. It doesn’t take much buying to drive a double-digit swing when only $1.08 million is traded; once buyers pull back, a reversal may not take long. The next figure I’d check is whether volume continues to rise around 0.1535. #短线异动 #成交量
Price down, open interest down—I read that as longs exiting. $STRK is currently at 0.09373, down 15.13% over 24 hours, with open interest worth about $40.91 million. Perpetual open interest fell 9.7% over 1 hour and 12.0% over 4 hours; the larger 4-hour decline shows that the exit didn’t just start this past hour. Open interest is shrinking as the price falls, which doesn’t look like leveraged buyers stepping in aggressively at the lows. It looks more like existing longs are pulling out on their own. #合约持仓 #资金面
Up 20.39% over 24 hours, but only 0.74% in the past hour. $S is currently at 0.06092. The seven-day low is 0.03702 and the high is 0.06901, putting the current price roughly 75% of the way through that range; the intraday low of 0.05031 is still below. The funding rate is -0.0111%, settled every 4 hours. The account long/short ratio is 1.43, and the large traders' position long/short ratio is 1.52. The price is rising, but shorts are still the ones paying. Perpetual open interest is 208,838,826 tokens, worth about $12.72 million. Spot 24-hour trading volume is $48.71 million, while visible liquidations are $320,000, making open interest look small next to trading volume. The amplitude is 37.2%. Next, watch whether 0.06901 holds as resistance and whether the funding rate turns positive. #资金费率 #合约数据
The window for front-running has narrowed from exposing the entire transaction to leaving only the address and fee visible. $APT has officially launched an encrypted mempool on mainnet. The current price is 0.8704 USDT, down 0.46% over 24 hours. Function calls and inputs remain encrypted until the block is finalized, while sender addresses and fees are still publicly visible. I see this as narrowing the MEV surface, not eliminating it: some readable call details are gone, but targeted transaction monitoring hasn’t been fully stopped. The price has barely moved, and the market hasn’t treated it as a sentiment catalyst for now. Next, I’m more interested in whether the number of transactions actually getting sandwiched has fallen. #加密内存池 #MEV
I checked Binance futures’ liquidation alerts for the past hour. The figure had reached $507 million, with longs accounting for 100%. These stats only show the latest liquidation for each trading pair every second, so the $507 million reported is already on the conservative side—the actual amount wiped out will be even higher. Every visible liquidation over the past hour was on the long side: the drop swept through leveraged longs in one concentrated round, rather than liquidations hitting both sides. I’m more interested in whether another wave will follow, or whether this move has already flushed out most of the excess leverage. Do you think this cleanup is over, or is it just getting started? #行情异动 #合约爆仓
A large amount of funds was still sitting in the attackers’ wallets in the Ledger supply-chain case. Now, nearly 3,000 $ETH have been transferred via Tornado Cash in three batches, then routed through the $ZEC privacy pool and converted into USDC. Investigators appear to have tracked 108 $ZEC transactions using exact value matching, and Tether has also frozen $10 million in stolen USDT.
I checked what remains: the related wallets still hold $38.6 million in $ETH and $16.9 million in $BTC , plus $2.85 million in USDC that Circle could likely freeze. $BTC is currently priced at 82,875.87 USDT, down just 0.31% over 24 hours. This hasn’t had much impact on the price so far, but I’ll wait for more on-chain tracking updates before assessing how the funds are moving.
Spot trading volume was $930 million. Perpetual open interest stood at 94,911 coins, worth $7.9 billion. The funding rate of 0.0067% isn’t particularly high. The account long/short ratio is 1.37, and the top traders’ long/short ratio is 1.53, so it looks like longs still have the upper hand.
I checked the 7-day range: the current price is 46% of the way between the high of 86,725 and the low of 80,393, placing it in the lower-middle part of the range. Liquidations over the past 24 hours were only $1.33 million, so there hasn’t been any obvious one-sided squeeze. On the whale side, someone just sold 229 $BTC and swapped it for 7,469.8 $ETH . Both transactions were worth $19.1 million, which makes me think some funds are rotating between assets.
Thailand has finalized its rules for domestic Bitcoin ETFs, restricting retail investors from accessing overseas products. That’s a positive for local demand in the long run, but likely to have a limited impact on prices in the short term. A Fear and Greed Index reading of 69 is only moderately bullish, too. My main focus now is whether the price can hold above the key 83,000 level. If it breaks below, we’ll need to watch whether open interest and the long/short ratio shift quickly.
The funding rate for $NATGAS has surged to 0.3724%, with settlement every 4 hours. Longs are so crowded that the cost of going long has shot up. I checked the mark price: 3.374 USDT, while the current price is still stuck at 3.373, down 1.43% over 24 hours, with 24-hour trading volume of $55.39 million. There are 239 minutes until the next settlement. If this rate holds, the cost of holding a position will be pretty high. I think longs should be careful not to get worn down too much by persistently positive funding rates.
How much longer do you think this rate can stay high?
Whether net flows can remain negative is the indicator I’ll be watching next. The reason is last week’s absorption: the market absorbed 220,374 Bitcoin $BTC , while exchange net flows stayed at -3,863 coins. The current price is 83389.04, up just +0.31% over 24 hours—price is almost flat, yet some of the supply has been absorbed. Inflows to exchanges were substantial, but net flows remained negative. That surplus indicates buying outweighed selling, with some capital taking up coins sold into the market. -3,863 is not much compared with 220,374. After inflows and outflows offset each other, only this small amount was actually bought net. If net flows turn positive again, this absorption will no longer hold up; as long as they remain negative, buyers can still be said to have the upper hand. #交易所资金 #比特币走势
A bit sudden. The deadline is November 9. ASIC proposes extending CFD rules to derivatives settled by transferring digital assets, provided they meet other criteria. The rules would impose leverage caps, mandatory closeouts and negative balance protection. Some cryptocurrency futures and options with fixed expiry dates would be excluded. This framework has been in place since 2021: providers must close out positions when account funds fall below a certain level, while negative balance protection caps clients’ losses at the funds in their accounts. Legislation passed in April brought cryptocurrency exchanges and tokenized custody platforms under financial services licensing, but the new regime will not take effect until April 9, 2027. The consultation and the licensing rollout aren’t happening on the same day. I’ll first see how this boundary is drawn, rather than treating it as a directional signal. #澳洲监管 #衍生品
The vulnerability has been patched. LDK released a security update, and versions 0.2.7 and 0.1.13 fix a flaw that could let malicious nodes steal funds. The most serious issue involved reconnecting Lightning channels. Bitcoin $BTC is currently at 83427.07 USDT, up 0.44% over 24 hours, and the price has barely reacted. A malicious node could falsely claim it hadn’t received a previously confirmed channel update. Vulnerable software might fail to record the related transaction correctly and sign a conflicting commitment transaction. Even after forwarding the payment, the attacker could still reclaim the bitcoin. The disclosure says that, based on the information reviewed so far, no losses related to these specific vulnerabilities have been confirmed. If I were running a node, I’d check the version first and wouldn’t keep an old build running. #安全事件 #闪电网络
France’s National Assembly Finance Committee voted 31 to 3 to reject the revenue section of the 2027 budget outright, taking the amendments on the crypto exit tax and taxation of stablecoin conversions down with it. For now, I’m treating this as a procedural pause, not the complete demise of the tax reforms. The relevant proposals must be resubmitted from Tuesday, the revenue section will be put to another vote on October 20, and the full bill won’t be voted on until November 17. The provisions that had already passed committee are still on the table: starting January 1, 2027, crypto-to-stablecoin conversions would be taxable; the scope of the exit tax would be expanded; self-custody wallets worth more than €100,000 at year-end would have to be declared; and failure to declare could incur a fine of up to €10,000. The lopsided vote may ease short-term sentiment, but I’m treating the next two vote dates as the key milestones and not reading this setback as a permanent cancellation. #法国加密税 #预算表决
Standard Chartered’s regulated Dubai DIFC branch has opened institutional custody for $RLUSD issued on the XRP Ledger. Ripple’s $XRP is still quoted at 1.4074, up just 1.27% in 24 hours. I initially see this as licensing and access, not as new liquidity that is already usable. They’re still in talks with Ripple and LMAX, hoping to include $RLUSD as eligible collateral, so clients using the mirror model won’t need to transfer coins to a trading venue first. The paperwork, testing, and compliance approvals are not yet complete, and today’s modest gain doesn’t indicate how it will be priced going forward. #机构托管 #加密快讯
PANews, October 12 — The $ONT mainnet has resumed producing blocks. The investigation into the security incident involving an ecosystem project has concluded. The current price is 0.05946 USDT, down 2.28% over 24 hours. The project team said that core infrastructure remains secure and the network itself suffered no loss of funds. The earlier block production halt was a precautionary measure taken together with the consensus nodes. The -2.28% figure doesn’t make me think the news has been fully priced in. Blocks have resumed, but the price is still falling, which suggests the recovery hasn’t been reflected in the market yet. The decline isn’t especially steep, and the direction hasn’t reversed. I’m treating 0.05946 only as the current anchor, and watching to see whether the price stabilizes or continues to grind lower. #主网恢复 #安全事件
Short positions are still crowded: the account long/short ratio for $ZEC is just 0.66, while the current price is already 1,300.27. It’s up 5.41% over 24 hours, but has pulled back 0.69% in the past hour. I see this as a pause after a run-up, not a trend reversal. The 24-hour range is 1,227.07 to 1,349.3, with a 10.0% amplitude and spot trading volume of $145 million. The 7-day high is 1,385 and the low is 1,112.77. The current price is roughly 69% of the way through that range—close to the daily high, but still some distance from the weekly high. The perpetual funding rate is 0.0007%, settled every eight hours, so longs are paying almost no premium. Open interest is around 468,134 coins, worth $609 million. The large-trader long/short ratio is 1.53, the opposite of the crowded shorts among accounts. Visible liquidations over 24 hours total only about $210,000, so the squeeze hasn’t really materialized yet. For now, I’m watching only to see whether price retests 1,349.3 and whether these shorts push the funding rate higher. #合约数据 #多空结构
Bitcoin failed to hold above $87,000. $BTC is now at 83481.43, up 0.54% over 24 hours. QCP compared the current market with the one-year anniversary of last October’s largest single-day liquidation, and thinks the market is holding up fairly well. The U.S. government moved a batch of coins, and Ledger was hacked again, so there are reasons for concern—but the price has stayed within its range. They see support below $80,000 as relatively solid. Options-implied volatility remains high, while the put premium has narrowed, suggesting the market is waiting for direction rather than turning defensive. Since $87,000 hasn’t been convincingly cleared, I wouldn’t put $94,000 on the table just yet. #比特币 #期权
Up 16.28% over 24 hours, but down 7.30% over the past 15 minutes. $S is quoted at 0.05649; after the short-term drop, it fell to 0.05636, down 0.56% over the past hour. The intraday range is 0.04716 to 0.06901, a 46.3% amplitude; the 7-day low is 0.03702 and the high is 0.06901, with the current price roughly 61% of the way through that range. The funding rate is 0.0023%, settled every 4 hours, so the rate itself doesn't indicate crowded positioning. The account long/short ratio is 1.38, and the large-trader position long/short ratio is 1.53, so positioning still leans long. Open perpetual positions total about 200,322,482 tokens, with a notional value of roughly $11.32 million. Compared with 24-hour spot trading volume of $46.61 million, leverage exposure is relatively light. Around $180,000 in liquidations are visible over the past 24 hours; this sharp drop hasn't triggered major liquidations yet. For what comes next, I'll be watching to see whether 0.04716 breaks, with 0.06901 still the upper level to watch. #价格位置 #资金面
