🚨 Crypto payment processor CoinsPaid was hacked on July 22 with a loss of $37.3 million in crypto! 😱 North Korean Lazarus Group is thought to be behind it. Attackers tricked CoinsPaid employees with fake job offers via LinkedIn and tricked them into installing malware.

🔹 Although the thieves gained access to the company's servers, they were unable to obtain the private keys of CoinsPaid's wallets.
🔹 The stolen funds, mostly USDT on the Tron blockchain, were exchanged for USDT on Avalanche via cross-chain bridges and then sent to the decentralized exchange SwftSwap.

CoinsPaid refunded customers from its own funds. How do you think such attacks can be prevented? We are waiting your comments! 💬👇
