"Binance engineer was romantically involved with a North Korean spy before the $6.3B hack."

Then Yi He steps in: it's not true, and ZachXBT never said that.

Honestly, this is the part that gets me. The story spread because it's *dramatic*. A spy, a love story, a laptop left unattended. It reads like a Netflix plot, so everyone shares it before anyone checks it.

The label said "unverified" right at the top, and it still travelled 12 hours.

I'm not saying Binance is above scrutiny. Hacks and security failures deserve hard questions. But a juicy story and a true story are two different things, and the market is full of the first kind.

My rule: if it sounds too cinematic, I wait for the source before I post, and definitely before I trade on it.

Not financial advice. DYOR.
