📌 Morning recap: Didn’t reach the upper level, didn’t get close to the lower one
Neither of the two levels from the morning post was triggered. The 08:00 close at 77,493.7 was the morning’s highest close; the wick high was 77,500, still short of 77,570.1. The 09:00 close was 77,336.2 and the 10:00 close was 77,383.6, both recovering slightly but staying below the 08:00 high. The 11:00 close was 77,107, the lowest of the morning’s four closes. The 12:00 candle is still in progress, with a high of 77,310.6 and a low of 77,049.5. The current price is 77,129.9, still hovering near the 11:00 close—the in-progress 12:00 candle does not count as a closing price.
As for the lower level: the 11:00 wick low was 77,064.4 and the in-progress 12:00 low is 77,049.5, both still far from 76,472. The 02:00 rebound after the dip has not been challenged.
OI fell from 34,946.6 coins earlier in the morning to 34,609.3 coins (approx. $2.701 billion to $2.669 billion). Leverage is unwinding slightly, not fleeing. A sample of 100 aggressive trades showed 57 buys and 43 sells over a window of about 1 second; for reference only, not evidence of direction.

📌 If I were the market maker
Since the 08:00 close at 77,493.7 didn’t close above 77,570.1, I wouldn’t rush to push the price higher. The upper level hasn’t been reclaimed, so anyone chasing the rally has no profit yet; pushing higher would mean putting up my own capital. What about pushing it down? The 11:00 close at 77,107 only fell below the 07:00 close; it hasn’t reached the critical 76,472 level, and there’s no follow-through to a downward move either. So my midday job is simple: let the price grind between the two levels and wait for the close to choose a direction. Wicks don’t count.
━━━
📌 What to watch this afternoon: Closing prices only; the two levels remain unchanged
Up: If the 1H candle closes above 77,570.1, the morning’s rebound after the dip is continuing; next watch 78,000.
Down: If the 1H candle closes below 76,472, the 02:00 recovery is invalidated; next watch 76,260.
If price grinds between the levels, don’t guess the direction. A wick touching a level does not count as a trigger.
For discussion purposes only; not investment advice.
