Willy Woo publishes 10,000 simulated Bitcoin price paths: 2028 peak could reach $241,000–$413,000

October 27 — Well-known on-chain analyst Willy Woo shared a Monte Carlo simulation model on X, generating 10,000 possible future price paths for Bitcoin.

The model was inspired by analyst sminston_with’s random-walk-based approach. It also incorporates the power-law decay in Bitcoin returns and uses BTC’s historical price data to generate price trajectories.

sminston_with previously ran 5,000 price simulations through 2034. All of the simulated paths showed BTC staying above its current level of $80,000, with a median price of $1.48 million in 2034.

According to the original model, the median prices at the end of 2027, 2028, and 2030 were $170,000, $266,000, and $537,000, respectively.

Willy Woo, however, refined the model by adding a variable that accounts for the current stage of the market cycle, making the simulation better reflect Bitcoin’s present position.

In Willy Woo’s view, the 28th–50th percentile range represents a relatively reasonable scenario, putting Bitcoin’s 2028 peak between $241,000 and $413,000. He emphasized that the results are quantitative simulations, not personal price predictions.

Do you think Willy Woo’s revised, “conservative” forecast is more realistic, or are the original model’s year-end median prices more likely? Share your thoughts in the comments!
