Sentiment in the Bitcoin market is still cooling, but funds are starting to flow back in.

📊 According to SoSoValue data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $110 million on Monday, ending two consecutive days of outflows. But don’t rush to interpret this as a market reversal—the ETFs saw a combined $774 million in outflows over the previous two trading days.

More importantly, since October, spot Bitcoin ETFs have still seen cumulative net outflows of around $202 million. A single day of inflows isn’t enough to prove that institutions have turned bullish again.

😟 Market sentiment hasn’t improved much either. The Fear and Greed Index fell from 50 to 48, returning to neutral territory. Meanwhile, on-chain data shows that over the past 30 days, the amount of Bitcoin transferred to Binance by retail investors rose to around $10.8 billion, while transfers linked to large holders fell to around $3.8 billion.

This may mean that some retail investors are making moves amid the price rebound, while trading activity among large holders has eased. However, transfers to exchanges don’t necessarily indicate selling, so these figures alone aren’t enough to conclude that the market is seeing a sell-off.

📌 What’s really worth watching is whether ETF inflows continue, and whether retail and large-holder behavior continues to diverge. To judge whether the market is truly recovering, don’t focus only on one day’s fund flows—watch the trend that follows.

The more volatile the market gets, the more important it is to understand the logic behind the fund flows instead of being swayed by daily price movements.
