According to CoinDesk, Stripe plans to expand its stablecoin card program to more than 100 countries by the end of 2026. Henri Stern, Stripe’s head of stablecoin and crypto business, said its customers currently include Kraken, Ramp, and Morse. Paymentscan data shows that spending on stablecoin cards totaled about $1.2 billion last month, roughly three times the amount a year earlier. Stripe is also exploring tokenized deposits, DeFi, and support for payments in more digital assets, but most of its related work is currently focused on stablecoins.
