Strategy strikes again
According to the company’s latest disclosure, Strategy accumulated 950 BTC between September 14 and 20, investing about $757 million in total, with an average purchase price of approximately $79,670 per BTC. After the buy, the company’s holdings returned to 846,000 BTC, with cumulative investment of about $63.8 billion.
More noteworthy is that this BTC purchase was not financed through a share issuance, but instead directly used the company’s existing USD cash.
At the same time, Strategy spent $174 million to repurchase STRC preferred stock. Together, the two actions this week used roughly $250 million in cash.
950 BTC is just a number, but the signal behind it is clear:
Strategy’s BTC accumulation strategy is still ongoing.
As of September 20, its holdings are only 1,363 BTC short of the prior all-time high of 847,363 BTC.
