According to a Bybit announcement, the Avalanche v1.15.0 Helicon mainnet upgrade will be activated at 15:00 UTC on September 22. AVAX and AVAXC related deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily paused starting from 14:30 UTC, while trading will not be affected. The upgrade includes C-chain asynchronous execution, dynamic minimum gas pricing, and auto-renewal for staking. The core goal is to improve execution efficiency and optimize validator rules.
Don’t simply equate “upgrade” with an immediate price pump. Two more realistic things to watch: first, whether on-chain activity can keep up after the upgrade is completed; second, whether AVAX trading volume can pick up momentum. If you also need to rebalance across platforms before deposits and withdrawals resume, be mindful of the risk that liquidity could get stuck.
