A federal court in Alabama dismissed significant portions of a February 2024 complaint against Binance, Binance.US, and former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao over allegations that the exchange facilitated transfers to Hamas. Magistrate Judge Chad Bryan ordered the plaintiffs to file a second amended complaint by April 10 or face the prospect of a total or partial dismissal. Binance said the ruling was a full and complete legal victory.
