The new solution enables financial institutions to make international transfers in real time in multiple currencies through a single account structure, eliminating the need for local agreements or independent technical infrastructure.
Global banking group Citi announced the launch of a multi-market instant payments solution in partnership with the Swift network. The tool allows its banking clients to make cross-border international transfers in real time in key currencies such as the Australian dollar (AUD), the British pound (GBP), the Indian rupee (INR), and the US dollar (USD), with plans to gradually add new currencies and markets.
