In September 2022, Binance announced a plan to tour East African universities in a bid to empower thousands of young people by educating them about blockchain, crypto, and Web3. The first event of this East Africa Campus Tour took place that same month at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in Nairobi, Kenya, where 3,000 students gathered for a week of activities.
Now it’s time for the second edition, which will run from October 21 to 31, 2022, and take place at the University of Nairobi – the largest university in Kenya and one of East Africa’s top-ranking institutions of higher education.
This time around, Binance has partnered with student leaders and Binance brand ambassadors who will help students learn about the evolution of money and blockchain technology. The week-long event will be packed with fun and engaging blockchain activities that will provide the students with a wealth of useful information.
