I'm leaning bullish on MU ahead of earnings, but this isn't just about beating expectations. The real test is whether Micron can sustain its margins and maintain strong demand into FY2027.

Micron delivered $41.46B in Q3 revenue and $25.11 non-GAAP EPS. For Q4, management guided for approximately $50B in revenue, 86% gross margin and $31 non-GAAP EPS.

Why I'm Bullish

AI infrastructure needs massive memory bandwidth. Micron's HBM4 is already shipping at high volumes, while HBM4E production is expected in 2027.

Micron also secured 16 strategic customer agreements covering roughly 20% of DRAM and one-third of NAND volume. These multi-year commitments improve demand visibility and support the memory supercycle thesis.

Bull Case

If Q4 margins hold near 86%, DRAM/NAND pricing remains strong and management confirms tight supply and robust HBM demand for FY2027, the memory supercycle could have further room to run.

Bear Case

Expectations are already high. Even an earnings beat could trigger selling if FY2027 guidance disappoints or pricing and margins weaken. Rising industry supply remains a major risk.

My Take

MU is no longer just a memory-pricing story. AI demand, HBM growth, constrained supply and long-term customer agreements could make this cycle different from previous ones.

I'm bullish heading into earnings, but FY2027 guidance matters more to me than headline EPS. The biggest question: Can Micron sustain 86% gross margins, and how much longer can the memory supercycle last?

This is the largest long-term holder cluster on the chart, making the area a crucial test for bulls.

A decisive break above this zone, followed by sustained holding, could allow the rally to continue and reinforce bullish momentum.

Still, rejection could keep $BTC constrained below resistance.

Can Bitcoin reclaim this zone and push higher?

ALTCOINS ARE TAKING THE SPOTLIGHT — AND BITCOIN SHOULD PAY ATTENTION

Spot traders are showing a clear shift toward higher-risk crypto assets. Total spot volume is now running close to 4x Bitcoin’s volume, reaching its highest level since September 2025.

That matters because stronger activity outside Bitcoin often reflects rising appetite for altcoins and more speculative positioning across the market. The current move suggests traders are becoming increasingly willing to rotate capital beyond BTC.

Historically, periods of elevated altcoin trading activity have often appeared around local $BTC tops. That does not automatically mean Bitcoin has reached one now, but it is a signal worth watching closely.

The recent rise in the ratio also shows that risk appetite is picking up again after a quieter stretch. If this rotation continues, altcoins could remain an important driver of crypto market activity.

Still, trading-volume signals can change quickly and are not a guarantee of price direction.
