Adjusted for inflation, he’s down around $10 billion.
The bigger issue is that a large part of these BTC purchases were made using borrowed money and that debt has to be paid back.
This is where things can get very messy, very fast.
I talked about this more than a month ago and warned about the risks. People like this create centralization, which goes against Bitcoin’s original purpose.
When leverage and concentration build up too much, the system becomes fragile.
I’ll keep you updated over the next few months.
And when I start buying Bitcoin again, I’ll say it here publicly.

Bitcoin has just crossed a very important line on the weekly chart.
In simple terms, the price has finally broken above the 200 Simple Moving Average (SMA). This is a long-term indicator that big institutional players and macro analysts watch very closely.
I don't know if you know, but historically, whenever Bitcoin reclaims this specific weekly level, it has almost always marked the true bottom of a bear market cycle. It is a very strong signal that the heavy selling pressure is finally over.
If history repeats itself, the recent dip to $57.7k could very well be the final bottom of this entire correction phase.
Here in Bangladesh, we don't really get to trade these long-term weekly setups easily because of the banking restrictions and regulatory hurdles. We mostly just watch the daily charts and wait for the local environment to open up. But looking at the global macro picture, the smart money is clearly starting to position themselves for the next phase.
