According to Foresight News, Faraway, a blockchain gaming company, has announced the acquisition of game IPs HV-MTL and Legends of the Mara from Yuga Labs. The company also plans to introduce a new points system for HV-MTL and LoTM NFTs.

All HVs will receive a new metadata field called 'HV-MTL points'. The level, Companion, and power score of user HVs will play a role in determining the points baseline. All Kodas and Kodamaras will receive a new metadata field called 'LoTM points'. The Otherside Koda series will still belong to the Yuga brand, but Kodas will still earn points. The points baseline will be determined by asset types, such as Mega Y/N, Weapon Y/N, and ability types.

In addition, Spencer Tucker, a veteran in the Web3 gaming industry, has joined Faraway as Chief Product Officer.
