Tether plans to put about €28.8 million into Juventus’s approved capital increase of up to €250 million, matching its stake in the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on November 7, 2026 that Tether, the issuer of $USDT and roughly 11.5% owner of Juventus, voted yes at the November 3, 2026 shareholder meeting to the recapitalization backed by majority owner Exor. It will contribute the €28.8 million (about 32 million dollars) matching its stake. Tether abstained on other ordinary items, including the accounts; Juventus’s official November 3 release put the consolidated loss at €66.0 million for the year ended June 30, 2026.
That November 3 vote granted Juventus’s board a mandate to raise up to €250 million, including share premium. In December 2025 Tether made an unsolicited offer to buy the club, which Exor declined. After a November 7, 2025 meeting it still subscribed about €11.7 million of an earlier, smaller recapitalization.
