$ONE shows +5.8% on the 24h board. Anyone who bought the top is down 22%.

That's the trap with the green number on the movers list: it compares to yesterday's price, not to where people actually bought.

Three of Binance's top gainers right now (USDT pairs, $5M+ volume):

- $ONE : +5.8% on the day, but $0.00192 vs a 24h high of $0.002476. That's about -22% from the peak.
- $ACT : +6.6% on the day, but $0.01148 vs a $0.01298 high. About -12% from the peak.
- $MET: +14.8% on the day, at $0.3296 vs a $0.3362 high. Only about -2% from the peak.

Same "gainer" label, completely different charts. ONE and ACT already pumped and faded. MET is the only one still holding near its highs.

My rule before chasing any top gainer: check the distance from the 24h high. If it has already given back more than half the move, the momentum crowd has left and you're buying their exit.

The 24h % tells you what happened. The distance from the high tells you who's still in control.

Do you check the 24h high before buying a pump, or just the % on the list?
