Binance said on Saturday, Nov 7, that finance chief Kaiser Ng is leaving to pursue a new venture after more than five years at the exchange. Justin Yek, most recently VP of Finance at Airwallex, takes over as CFO.

🔄 Why it matters: co-CEO Yi He said the handover followed a transition plan implemented over the last half year, so it was planned well before the Oct 29 security incident. Binance has said it will fully reimburse affected users while withdrawals keep reopening in phases.
