If you trade every single day, you’re probably not consistent. You’re just busy.

In trading, most people think consistency means a daily routine. Wake up early, check the chart, take an entry, repeat. I don’t see it that way.

Consistency is a few simple rules you follow every time.

1. Expect less from the market

Take small moves. Set small targets. Big dreams make people take bad trades. Small goals are easier to repeat, and repeating is the whole point.

2. Set a target, then stop

Pick a monthly target and a per-trade target. When you hit it, you are done.

Say you open your setup at 9:30 and your target is hit by 9:35. Close the screen. No more trading for the day.

This one is hard. Most people can’t do it.

3. Respect your setup

Your setup might take 2 hours to show up. Or 4. Or 8.

Until price reaches your level and gives your setup, you don’t enter. If you want to short $ETH , you wait for your level, not the one that feels exciting right now.

4. Don’t keep switching

Found a pair, a strategy, or a trading time that suits you? Stay with it.

Jumping between pairs and strategies every week is the opposite of consistency.

Why this is hard

None of this is exciting. There is no big win in it. It is boring on purpose.

But boring is what keeps you in the market. The traders who panic, chase, and switch plans every few days are the ones who get stuck in bad positions.

If you hit your daily target in the first five minutes, would you really close the screen for the rest of the day?
