HYPE Cools Off Near 87 After a Powerful Breakout to 97: Healthy Pullback or Trend Fading?

Hyperliquid is trading at $87.85, down about 2.70% on the day, and the 4H chart shows a market catching its breath after one of the strongest rallies in the group.

After climbing from the $74.99 area, HYPE exploded higher with a large green candle and pushed up to $97.74. That breakout came with heavy volume and carried price well above all three moving averages. Since the peak, though, sellers have taken over. The candles have turned mostly red, price has made a series of lower highs, and volume has dried up as the pullback has played out.

The 24h range sits between $86.36 and $90.31. Price is now trading just under the MA(7) at 88.39 and holding above the MA(25) at 86.72, which tells me this is a controlled retracement so far rather than a full breakdown. The last few candles are small, suggesting the selling pressure is easing.

What I’m watching:

MA(7) at ~88.39: Price is just below it and it is now sloping down. Reclaiming this level would be the first sign that buyers are stepping back in.
MA(25) at ~86.72: This is the key support right now. Price has been bouncing around this zone, and a clean break below it would shift the tone.
MA(99) at ~80.75: Rising and well below price, it acts as the major trend support if the pullback deepens.
Support at ~86.36 and ~83.86: The first is the 24h low, and the second is the next visible support level on the chart.
Resistance at ~90.31 and ~97.74: The 24h high comes first, then the recent peak.

My take: Unlike most majors that are still trading below falling averages, HYPE has all three moving averages stacked in a bullish order with price still above the MA(25) and MA(99). That makes this look like a healthy pullback within a bigger uptrend. Still, the lower highs and fading volume show momentum has cooled, so I want to see price hold the 86 to 87 zone and reclaim 88.40 before calling the dip over.
